Tomorrow is the Big Day

Yup. Tomorrow is the race. We got to Orlando last night around 8:00. We checked into the condo (which is gorgeous) and then ordered dinner. Pizza of course. After being in the car all day and not wanting to do much of anything ordering pizza seemed like a great thing to do.
I ended up throwing up last night too. Awesome huh? I'm really getting sick and tired of getting sick all of the time.
And NO. I am NOT preggo. I'm still on my pill. I'm still having my period. And I have taken pregnancy tests AND been to the doctor. I think my stomach just hates unhealthy foods. Yet I still keep shoveling them into my face.

I am ready for this half marathon because I think the feeling of accomplishment and the amazing sense of pride will help me to finally shape up. I am really unhappy. We are down here in sunny, warm Florida and I couldn't pack any of my summer clothes because non of them fit. Not of my cute skirts, tank tops, shorts, capris pants.... nothing. I'm wearing jeans and a race T-Shirt from a 5K I ran 2 years ago. That's not Florida clothing. That's frumpy stuff heavy people wear to hide the fact that they can't wear cute summer clothes. I know, because that's what I'm going through right now. I saw a picture of myself fro the other day and started to cry.
Why have I done this?

Again, this half marathon is going to be an amazing starting point for me. Plus, there's another half marathon I signed up for in April. I plan on just signing up for races because it's the only thing that really keeps me on track. I love running and now that I know my foot isn't broken and I can run I need to take full advantage of it.

Anyway, today we have to go to one of those "Welcome" meetings for the time share my dad owns and then we will have lunch. After that, we are off to the ESPN World Sports Center outside of Disney to pick up our race packets, bib numbers and shirts! It's a HUGE Expo and there will be some really neat booths there. I cannot wait to see all of the cool stuff they have. Then, we are doing some grocery shopping for some food and breakfast items for tomorrow and then we will just lounge around the condo, condo pool and condo bar all day until it's time for bed. Mom and I have to be in bed by 8:00 at the latest.

We have to be up by 3:00 a.m.
Out the door by 4:15 a.m.
In our corral at 5:00 a.m.
Race starts at 5:45 a.m.

Please keep in mind, I am from Illinois and there is an hour time difference. Right now... back home... it's 9:32. Here, it's 10:32. So, basically I'm getting up at 2:00 a.m. and running a race at 4:45 a.m.

Who signed us up for this?!

:)

Hopefully there will be a recap with pictures tomorrow sometime. Since I won't be able to move much, blogging should be pretty easy.
