Weigh In & Another Recipe

Happy Friday! Let's get right to it shall we?

Weigh In Results:
Weigh In: -10.1      WAHHOOOOOO!!!!!
Total Lost: 10.1
Pounds to Lose: 96

I'm pretty damn proud of myself. I know this isn't going happen every week. However, this shows that I was not 100% committed before no matter what I told myself and it is amazing what you can accomplish if you just plan and stick with it. I also exercised 4 days in that period which is a bump up from no exercise at all. I'm feeling incredibly empowered and really good inside. I still take pictures of myself for progress and feel a little disappointed (just because I let myself get to this point) but seeing those pictures just gives me that much more of a determination to get going!

I did Day 3 of the Shred last night and my body is starting to not hurt AS bad. Thankfully Andrew has been a trooper and has been rolling out my calves for me at night. I also took a hot bath last night to soak and Andrew ordered some Epsom salts off Amazon for me. That should really help with the soreness.

The challenge I joined (30 Day Shred challenge) with some Instagram and Facebook friends officially started today. So, I'm resetting back to Day 1 for that, but I am going to keep a running count for myself of the 3 days I did prior to it starting.

I had not planned on doing a new recipe last night since I have so many leftovers.

I am SERIOUSLY OBSESSED with this chili. I had forgotten to put fresh cilantro on it the first night I ate it but last night I threw some on there and wow. Just wow. The taste of the fresh cilantro in there was amazing. But I digress.....

The recipe last night was more of a treat and since I had all of the ingredients and ripe bananas.... it only made sense that I make them.

Petite Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Loaves
Now, I was 100% sure I had a mini loaf pan. When I went to dig it out I realzied that I no longer had it. I think it might be at my parent's house. Thankfully in this recipe she also suggests making muffins and they are the perfect size and less points than the loaves. They turned out wonderfully and my husband and I love them. I had one for breakfast this morning with an egg and some FF milk. Yum!
The recipe makes 12 muffins at 4P+ each. If you make them into the loaves they are 6P+ each.

I told Andrew that from now on all we were going to be eating was our staple foods (eggs, milk, bread) and recipes from Gina's website. He said that was fine with him since everything I have been making has been delicious and makes plenty of leftovers. It has kept me focused and on track all week. Obviously... my loss is proof of that!

  • I hate Beyonce. I'm sorry if you like her. When she sings I want to shove sharp objects in my ears. I think she screams and sounds like a dying animal. (a song of hers was just on the radio)
  • I love coffee. I hate that it gives me bad breath. Ick.
  • American Horror Story is one of the best things that has ever happened to television.
  • I get to have lunch with my husband today and I'm excited. Well, at least I think I do. If his piano tunings go as planned....
  • I love my job. I seriously LOVE my job.
  • I get to go to Ulta this weekend and spend $15 because that was my 10 pounds lost goal reward. Yay make up!
  • I plan on being a complete lazy ass this weekend once my workouts are done. I honestly intend to play computer games every free moment I can spare. Yay Sims!
  • I didn't have ANY Halloween candy this year. And guess what? I lived!!
  • I am totally craving a gin and tonic. Luckily I have diet tonic water, gin and limes at home. I will indulge tonight!
