My Very First Giveaway!

I've decided to do a Blog Giveaway. One, because I need something from you readers and two, because I want to know if anyone out there actually reads this. Nobody ever comments and it makes me feel lonely and unappreciated. *sniffle*

Ok, that is kind of an over exaggeration because I do this blog mainly for an outlet and because I like to go back and read my own posts... but still.... a little love is appreciated. Especially since I leave love for others.

Anywhoo, let's get to it.

iRun Giveaway!
Since I've never done this before it is going to be a small giveaway and very simple to enter. I will put all of the entries into a random generator to pick the winners. I won't play favorites.

How to enter:
Leave me a comment below with suggestions for books to read. I've run out of ideas and need some new ones. Now, if you have suggested books to me before (on Facebook) I have already read most of those. So, gimme some new stuff! You will not be disqualified to win if you suggest a book I have already read, because c'mon, how could you know?

How many can win:
Three people will win!

Once the winner is chosen:
I will post the winners to my blog with a link to their sites (if they have one) and they must email me at beckylcowan@gmail.com to receive the prize. I will need full names and addresses of the winners.

Dates of Giveaway:
I am starting it today and ending it on Thursday, December 5. I will pick the winners Thursday night and announce them on Friday's blog post. The winners will have until Monday evening at 5:00 P.M. CST to email me their information. I will mail the prize on Tuesday!

Restrictions:
I will only mail to the U.S.

The Prize:

It is a beauty product that I recently purchased and I know has been out awhile but I love it immensely and want to share it with people. I will be picking which one to send.

Maybelline Baby Lips Balm

My favorite right now is the purple tube which is Peach Kiss. I love that the balm gives the tiniest hint of color and moisturizes my lips as well. It really is a wonderful little product!

In other news:
Everything else is still going well. I seriously love my new counselor, therapist, psychiatrist... whatever you want to call her. She is wonderful and she gave me a really interesting "homework" assignment to do this week that I basically sat down and hashed out last night.
Food and tracking is still going well and I'm going strong on the Skinny Snowman Challenge. I didn't end up walking the dogs last night because I was too excited to get started on my project from my counselor. I ended up doing that and didn't even eat dinner until close to 7:00!

Menu for Today:
B: 2 HB eggs, chicken sausage, 1 c FF milk, coffee
S: Cheese Sticks, banana
L: Progresso Soup, ham sandwich, WW mini bar
S: Chobani Flip - Key Lime Crumble
D: Leftover Tacos
Activity: Might try to walk the dogs tonight

This is the time of year where I will eat a lot of soup. It is really warm and comforting when the weather is icky and cold.

I don't have much else to update... so.... good luck on the giveaway!!!

  1. I love soup this time of year, too! I used to challenge myself to make 100 new soup recipes in the fall and winter each year.

I'm not sure what kind of books you like to read, and please don't enter me in your giveaway, but I've been really into all of Lisa Gardner's books this year. I only have one left, and then I'll have read all of them!

  2. I have to suggest books I haven't already suggested to you before?!?! That is so hard.

I've been reading the House of Night series (vampire books set in Tulsa). They are pretty cheesy though. I also just read Lose Your Quit by Danny Cahill (a winner of Biggest Loser) and that was good. I also read Warrior by Marie Brennan but that is a fantasy book and I'm not sure if you like fantasy!
